hi
My name is jaco and when i was a child my parents use to take us fishing and camping on the nature reserve, when camping was still allowed and i can remember every year it was off to loskop dam, i am now 41 years old and would like to know if the side on the reserve will be opened again for fishing and camping
I am even willing to drive from Bloemfontein to come and have holidays at the reserve again and to enjoy fishing in the dam again if the side where you entered from the hotel side can be opened again for campers
It is and will always be a beatifull dam, and believe me i went to some dams but i think if a dam was so well inprited on your mind from childwood it will never change espesially the beaty of the dam and its surrounding areas

Kruger Park - Talamati
Kruger Park - Talamati (Website)

Talamati is a Xitsonga word that means "Lots of Water". Yet, despite the meaning of the name, the river is actually dry. The clay soil however, acts as a giant sponge holding a vast reservoir of underground water and keeping the vegetation lush all year round. Talamati Bushveld Camp is situated in a large open valley, affording superb game viewing opportunities. The luxuriant grassveld in the area attracts large herds of grazers, and the predators never lurk too far behind.
