Welcome to Silver Moon Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful thatched home in a fantastic setting. Our Guest House is in the heart of Hartbeespoort Dam, North West Province. Our beautiful backdrop is the wonderful Magaliesberg Mountains and we are within walking distance of the magnificent Hartbeespoort Dam and only 23.5ks from Lanseria International Airport. Silver Moon Bed & Breakfast is in the centre of Hartbeespoort and is ideally situated close to most of the activities and attractions that Harties has to offer. Staying with us at our guest house gives you the opportunity to enjoy the area at its best, whether staying with us as a stop over, or as your base for exploring the Hartbeespoort area. We are always keen to advise or assist with places to visit, activities available and restaurants to try. We strive to provide a clean, friendly and welcoming bed and breakfast accomodation in a family friendly & relaxed atmosphere. This establishment is family owned & managed.

We can offer Bed & Breakfast Rates or a Room Only Rate with the option of using the shared kitchen facilities in the guest lounge. MOONLIGHT - a superb bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite facilities, including a double size bath. Air conditioning, television, tea and coffee facilities and private access to the balcony. NEW MOON - a delightful family sized bedroom with a queen size bed & 2 singles, air conditioning , television, tea and coffee facilities with a private shower and toilet. Please Note: Our bedrooms do NOT have any self catering facilities. Other Facilities: The guest lounge is situated upstairs along with the 2 bedrooms and it is exclusively for guests to use. Dining area with tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery for 8 people. Lounge area with T.V, full DSTV and a DVD player. Children's Corner, an indoor play area for the younger children, with a selection of toys for them to play with. Swimming Pool and Lapa/Entertainment area in private garden. Babysitting service available - By prior arrangement Purified water provided. We also offer weekday accommodation for business people staying during the week or on a long term basis Within easy reach of Pretoria, Johannesburg, Rustenburg and Lanseria International Airport, perfectly located for anyone that may have to work away from home. We can accommodate working professionals from Sunday night through to Friday morning, providing a comfortable nights rest and a continental breakfast in the morning - R300 per night Contact us to arrange a tailor made quote for long term accommodation.

At Silver Moon Bed and Breakfast we are close to most of the activities, you can to do anything from a boat cruise, or river rafting to walking with elephants or even take a hot air balloon ride high above Hartbeespoort Dam. We have many art galleries for art lovers and with Chameleon Village and the Welwitschia Country Market there are plenty of curios to look at too. A trip over the dam wall is a sight not to be missed, and a visit to the banks of the dam via one of the many boat launching clubs is a must for a relaxing picnic. Our guest house is within walking distance to the Schoemansville Oewer Club, so what are you waiting for... it's time to book that well earned weekend away at Hartbeesport Dam. We are 1hr (approx) away from Sun City for a day of fun in the sun, swimming in the Valley of Waves or trying your luck in the Casino or all the other great attractions Sun City has to offer. For those of you that prefer to be out in the bush doing a game drive there is Pilanesberg Game Reserve which is near to Sun City

The idyllic Letaba Rest Camp is situated on a sweeping bend of the Letaba River, midway between the southern and northern boundaries of the Kruger National Park. The name means "river of sand", and the sandy riverbed is an excellent location for game viewing, particularly elephant, which thrive in the area. Letaba is a green oasis in the surrounding mopane veld, and remains a firm favourite with visitors. At night the stars overlook a symphony of sounds. Owls, nightjars, frogs, fruit bats, crickets and cicadas all vie to be heard, until the lion roars, then all are silent.
