Description
Mediterrea Restaurant can be defined by the term "contemporary Greek cuisine". They have been trading since 2002 and consistently strive to provide their guests with a unique dining experience. This they achieve by offering flavoursome Mediterranean dishes fused with an innovative South African influence.Chef-owner Taki Marakis works closely together with his staff to ensure that the carefully designed menu changes on a regular basis. He believes in the importance of giving his guests a fresh experience with every visit to the restaurant.

Mediterrea specializes in seafood: ouzo flambéed calamari tubes, line fish wrapped in phyllo pastry with green asparagus, and grilled garlic prawns with courgette orzo; however, the meat dishes are not to be forgotten with features such as a duo of venison - springbok in a rosemary chocolate sauce and ostrich in a wild mushroom cream.

At the heart of Taki's restaurant philosophy lies the desire to make fine dining accessible to everyone by offering top-notch cuisine and award winning wines at affordable prices. There is a tea garden / Restaurant perfect for weddings, corporate meals, or just a lovely dining out.
