Description

Situated in the tranquil cosmopolitan village of old Melville, you will find Nuno's Restaurant. This popular restaurant has been nominated twice, as the best prawn eatery in the country, and the winner in 1998. The unique restaurant offers its patrons an exciting and diverse combination of traditional dishes, which are complemented by simple comforts of an original Mediterranean experience.

The restaurant is small yet festive, perfect for social and sporting events. The outside seating is spilt out onto the sidewalk, perfect for relaxed afternoon lunches and warm summer evenings. You can enjoy bustling evenings, with traditional Latin American and Cuban music, complemented by friendly efficient service and excellent food. The food is traditional Portuguese with slight flavours of Mediterranean. The menu is diverse and truly inviting, with a variety of speciality dishes to choose from. The specialties include the "Mozambican Prawns", either king or queens, prepared in a light peri peri and lemon sauce, served with basmati rice.

The exciting pizzas are gourmet, made with a unique thin base, and a variety of interesting toppings to choose from. The large selection of pastas are juicy and imported. There is also a wide variety of Portuguese wines and beers to complement your meal. The restaurant caters for concerned smokers, with a secluded cigar and smoking area. Nuno's Restaurant is available for birthday parties and private parties, catering for 60 to 70 people comfortably. Set menus are available on request.

Kruger Park - Satara (Website)

Satara is a busy camp, and not without reason. It is situated in an excellent game viewing area, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse. The camp itself has a rustic charm, with the bulk of the accommodation set out in a series of circles. Satara is well wooded and the bird-life is prolific. At night the clink of fruit bats is fused with the chirping of cicadas and crickets. The calls of owls and nightjars add to the symphony that is punctuated intermittently by the whoop of hyena, the screech of jackal and the roars of lion.
