Description
Sefapane Lodge & Safaris is situated 1 km from the Phalaborwa Gate, the central gate to the Kruger National Park, on a beautiful parcel of unspoiled bushveld. The 4-star luxury lodge consists of 31 fully serviced, deluxe traditional ‘African style’ thatched rondavels. The rondavels, situated under shady trees, are fitted with air-conditioning, safes, tea and coffee making facilites, bar fridge, hair dryer and en-suite bathrooms.
On our estate area we have 20 excellent safari houses, situated around the dam, where there is brilliant birdlife. The safari houses are suitable for 4 to 8 persons, self catering, but also able to use all the lodge facilities.
Next to the splendid swimming pool is a sunken bar. The restaurant, with open kitchen, serves filling breakfasts, lunches and divine à la carte dinners. The Indaba lounge offers a place for the kids to have fun, watch television or sit by the fireplace as members of the Junior Safari Club. There is also a lovely Tea garden just next to the kids Lounge where parents can come for coffee and lunch while their kids are being supervised by the specially appointed Sefapane staff.
Alternatively we can host small conferences, workshops (with wireless internet through out the lodge and an internet booth for guests) and private dinner functions. A rustic dam on the property allows guests to watch the colourful birdlife undisturbed. Also visit the Misava Spa for a relaxing massage or manicure/pedicure to really get you in the holiday spirit!
Sefapane Lodge & Safaris organises safaris within the Kruger National Park guided by experienced and qualified guides and in special designed gameviewing safari vehicles. The day, river, bike and evening safaris as well as the bush walks are all conducted under the guidance of experienced rangers. The well-known 18-holes Hans Merensky Golf Course plus the centre of Phalaborwa is only a few minutes drive away from Sefapane Lodge. There are also daily excursions organised to see Blyde River Canyon, Cultural Villages and Animal Rehabilitation Centres.
Transfers can be arranged to the local Phalaborwa Airport or further a field to Hoedsruit Airport is needed.

Kruger Park - Skukuza
Kruger Park - Skukuza (Website)

Skukuza is the Kruger National Park's largest rest camp and administrative headquarters. It is situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River. The camp is well foliaged and there are some lofty trees along the river's edge. Activities and facilities are diverse, as are the animals and plants found both within the camp and in the surrounding areas.
