Smalls Cottage is a self catering 2 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 5 guests, one full bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. This is a friendly family run accommodation which is within walking distance of the beach. We have all main appliances, open view TV and DVD player. Safe parking in a quiet neighborhood. The home is fully furnished and linen is provided, however guests are asked to bring their own bath and beach towels. The unit is serviced once a week unless prior arrangements are made. Other features include a lock up garage with additional parking available behind electronic gates.
Smalls Cottage is an ideal holiday location for divers who wish to dive the Aliwal Shoal which is one of the world's top 10 dive sites. June & July months are a bit cooler and an ideal time to witness the Sardine run where you may also spot Dolphins, Sharks, Cape Gannets & Game fish. We are also situated close to the Umkomaas Golf course on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
Beach: A short walk to Umkomaas Beach (800m). Although the beach is not a swimming beach it is great to walk along the beach and rock pools and watch the dive boats launching on their journey to the world famous Aliwal Shoal. Only 9kms from Scottburgh which is a coastal resort town situated on the mouth of the Mpambanyoni River, 58kms south of Durban. Neighboring towns include Pennington, Renishaw, Clansthal and Park Rynie.
Umkomaas, a small coastal town on the subtropical south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa was formed when a harbour was built in 1861 to export sugar.

Shingwedzi lies in the northern part of the Kruger National Park in the heart of mopane country. A scenic game drive along the Shingwedzi River in a south-easterly direction towards the Kanniedood Dam is one of the most rewarding drives in the Park.
